Seperti inilah yang tergambar dalam kepalaku ketika aku memandang dunia.
Hehehe…
Logis saja kalau kita menganggap bahwa dunia ini hanyalah lautan data. Kita merasa hidup karena tubuh kita memiliki sensor terhadap informasi dari luar tubuh, dan kita mampu merespon karena memiliki prosesor informasi, yakni otak.
Bukti tentang dunia sebagai lautan data adalah kenyataan bahwa kita bisa meretas aliran data yang masuk ke otak kita, dengan hipnotis misalnya. Data yang tak terolah dengan sempurna juga banyak ditemukan, misalnya dalam permainan ilusi mata.
Barangkali setelah menonton film The Matrix ada orang yang bertanya-tanya, jangan-jangan kita memang hidup dalam The Matrix. Yea, bisa jadi 
bhinneka tunggal ika
Indonesia seharusnya merupakan bangsa yang berbeda-beda namun tetap satu jua, seperti yang tercermin dalam frasa di atas, yang terdapat dalam lambang negara.
Tetapi tak dapat dipungkiri kenyataan bahwa manusia Indonesia tak semuanya mampu menerima perbedaan, tak mampu menerima orang lain yang berbeda dari dirinya. Pendapat sempitnya barangkali selalu mampu meyakinkannya bahwa dirinya dan seluruh atribut miliknyalah yang paling benar, sedang yang lain patut dilabeli sesat.

Masih bertopik nikah. Bukan aku, tapi teman baikku semasa SMA.
Membuatku berpikir, apa yang mendorong orang menikah.
Mendapat keturunan, tentu saja. Dan ini termasuk juga seks dan kawan-kawannya, tak akan dibahas di sini.
Yang lain? Ada satu kalimat dari sebuah film.
…kita menikah, karena kita membutuhkan saksi. saksi bahwa kita pernah hidup di dunia ini…
Lantas ada juga gambaran pernikahan dari sebuah game, kalau nggak salah Xenogears, di situ ada patung dua makhluk seperti manusia yang saling menopang, pada punggung masing-masing terdapat sebuah sayap. Dengan saling menopang, mereka akhirnya bisa terbang.
Alasan yang bisa kupikirkan adalah, bahwa manusia yang pada hakikatnya adalah makhluk sosial, selalu membutuhkan sesamanya setiap saat. Ketika teman-teman lama pergi dan teman-teman baru juga menghilang, pada akhirnya kita masih memiliki setidaknya 1 teman setia: pasangan kita. Mungkin dari sini muncul istilah teman hidup.

Entah apa yang ada di pikiran orang-orang ini. Entah siapa yang dapat ku-refer dengan istilah “orang-orang ini” dalam kalimat sebelum ini. Pasalnya, seruas jalan di Kendal terserut. Itu lho, bergaris-garis kayak habis digaruk pake garpu. Garpu raksasa pastinya
Nggak tanggung-tanggung, ruas jalan yang terserut ini cukup panjang. Pada mulanya ada 1 ruas sepanjang sekitar 2 km, diukur dengan speedometer shogun standar. Nah, belum selesai serutan ini ditambal, muncul lagi serutan lain di ruas jalan berikutnya, tak jauh dari ruas pertama yang berada dekat dengan pabrik gula Cepiring.

Aku baru saja kembali dari Pekalongan. Mengendarai sepeda motor petang hari benar-benar tak menguntungkan bagiku karena aku terpaksa membuka kaca helm demi mempersilakan menangkap lebih banyak cahaya. Jalanan sangat gelap di beberapa tempat dan tidak rata, ciri khas jalanan Indonesia.
