Yes it works!

Well, I’ll begin my story then.
It is said that in life, friends come and go, for this we need to be prepared that we may lose friends we dear, and meet new friends. And in near past, a very good friend of mine got promoted. He is transferred to regional office in Pontianak, a city in West Kalimantan.
The truth is, that I couldn’t decide whether I had to be sad or happy. It was a happy news knowing that he got promoted, but in the same time, it was a sad news that he must continue his own journey without us. He is a good person, though. He rarely got mad when we mocked him, and he smiled when we ate his snacks. Ack, we weren’t good enough to be his friends, are we?

This is a great loss for me, actually, for he is like a big brother to me. A master of Business Law from UGM but low profile, purple lover, I can say nothing but farewell and wish you a good luck in your new office. Gosh, you are an echelon now, mas Abbas! Just keep the hard work, like you usually do. Godspeed!

Pemain internasional Bulgaria ini hadir dalam pertandingan Aston Villa melawan Chelsea FC dalam lanjutan kompetisi Liga Inggris 2011-2012, di mana memasuki setengah jam babak pertama, ia mendapatkan aplaus dengan standing ovation yang dilakukan oleh fans kedua kubu yang sedang bertanding. Hello Ghost, bercerita tentang Kang Sang-Man yang berniat bunuh diri namun selalu gagal karena selalu diselamatkan orang lain. Namun ternyata, sang dokter yang memeriksanya berkata bahwa ia sempat mati. Sejak saat itulah ia mulai bisa melihat hantu orang-orang yang telah mati. Maka dimulailah hari-harinya dengan ditemani 4 hantu yang selalu mengikutinya.

Sesuai saran seorang peramal, ia diharuskan mengabulkan keinginan masing-masing hantu. Satu persatu tugas dikerjakannya, dan kita akan melihat kejadian-kejadian lucu. Empat hantu itu : seorang kakek genit, bapak tukang merokok, ibu yang selalu menangis, dan seorang anak kecil sok jago. Petualangannya juga membawanya makin dekat dengan Yun-Soo, gadis manis yang jadi perawat di salah satu rumah sakit di sana.

Sang-Man yang awalnya merasa kesepian karena yatim piatu, merasa cukup terganggu dengan tingkah usil 4 hantu itu, namun di waktu yang sama merasakan hangatnya keluarga. Berbeda dengan Yun-Soo yang kecewa dengan ayahnya dan membencinya.

Berbagai kejadian itu memuncak, membawa kita juga pada cerita awal mengapa Sang-Man menjadi yatim piatu, dan hubungannya dengan 4 hantu itu. Pada akhirnya, kita akan melihat kisah mengharukan khas film Korea, dan diakhiri dengan happy ending.

End Of March

Last day of March, well, I haven’t made a single post this month. Kinda weird this month, started with too many hectic days, even on weekends, since I started new projects and I had to continue old project in the same time. Meanwhile, I had problems I am not yet able to solve. But then, the past week was so weird since I didn’t have any assignment, and it helped me to recover from serious influenza. Haha.

Well then, I hope for a better situation next month, and joyful May.

UP merupakan film animasi, dengan cerita sederhana namun sarat makna.
Ketika film ini kembali diputar di GlobalTV, cerita di bagian awalnya saja sudah memberiku banyak pelajaran.

Carl Fredricksen, kini berumur 78 tahun, adalah suami dari Ellie, yang telah dikenalnya sejak kanak-kanak. Kita disajikan cerita bagaimana ia pertama kali bertemu dengan Ellie, terpikat dengan keberaniannya, dan ketika beranjak dewasa, kedua orang ini jatuh cinta dan menikah. Dengan Ellie yang divonis mandul, mereka berdua hidup sendirian, menua, sementara waktu terus berjalan. Pada akhirnya, Ellie meninggal. Walaupun Carl si kakek tua berusaha mempertahankan rumah kenangannya di tengah penggusuran, pengadilan memutuskan untuk memindahkan si kakek ke panti jompo. Dengan penuh tekad, ia meniup ribuan balon dan menerbangkan rumahnya, dalam perjalanan terakhirnya menuju Paradise Falls, Amerika Selatan, untuk mewujudkan impian Ellie sang petualang. Bersama Russel si anak pramuka culun yang secara tak sengaja ikut dalam petualangan Carl.

I admire this old man. He taught me how to be faithful to my future wife. I envy him, and hope that I can live like him, getting older with my sweetheart, celebrating life, until my last farewell to her.
For now, I am willingly to learn everything required to be a honest and faithful husband, to remember every memory of my wife, to remember every second I spend with her, to love her, and to spend my life with her.
Troubles are always in the way, but I am sure that with patience and love, we can solve them. May God help me, and each one of you who love your spouse.

Pengalaman Pertama Menggunakan KRL Jabodetabek

Sebagai seorang perencana yang baik, tentunya aku harus memperhitungkan dan merencanakan segala sesuatu dengan matang sebelum aku melakukan kegiatan-kegiatan secara simultan, termasuk kali ini, di mana aku harus pergi ke Serpong. Sendirian.
Segala sesuatu pasti punya “first time”, dan supaya tidak kesasar, aku mencoba melakukan “perjalanan percobaan” di hari Sabtu. Sebagai persiapan, aku mencari informasi jadwal kereta api dan jalur perjalanannya, di mana aku harus berangkat dari stasiun Palmerah dan turun di stasiun Serpong.

Perjalanan kumulai dari halte Gatot Subroto Jamsostek, di sini aku harus menunggu sekitar 20 menit untuk mendapat bus transjakarta yang masih punya ruang berdiri. Jam baru menunjukkan pukul 06.30 di hari Sabtu ini, tetapi bus transjakarta sudah sangat sesak! Aku turun di shelter Slipi dan sesuai peta yang kubaca, aku menuju stasiun Palmerah, yang ternyata cukup jauh bila ditempuh dengan jalan kaki, sekitar 15 menit menyusuri rel.
Sampai di stasiun, beli tiket ke Serpong, commuterline seharga Rp. 6000. Nah, sesuai dengan jadwal yang kubaca, kereta commuterline tiba di Palmerah sekitar pukul 07.06, dan berangkat setelah berhenti beberapa menit. Perjalanan melewati beberapa stasiun, di antaranya stasiun Kebayoran, Jurangmangu, Sudimara, Rawa Buntu, dan Serpong, dengan tujuan akhir kereta di Parung Panjang. Perjalanan memakan waktu sekitar 30-35 menit, cukup singkat menurutku, dan cukup menyenangkan karena tidak terlalu ramai di dalam kereta (konon di commuterline ini tiap pagi dan sore orang berdesak-desakan bahkan sampai ada yang pingsan. Wow, Jakarta!)

Niatku membeli sarapan di Serpong tidak kulakukan karena memperhitungkan waktu yang mulai siang, saat itu sudah menunjukkan pukul 07.35 dan kereta commuterline jurusan Tanah Abang sudah hampir berangkat. Langsung kubeli tiket commuterline dan berlari ke jalur 1 arah Jakarta.
Kereta masih sangat lengang ketika memulai perjalanannya ke Jakarta, dan baru mulai penuh dengan penumpang saat berada di stasiun Sudimara yang cukup ramai calon penumpang.
Aku tiba kembali di Jakarta sekitar pukul 08.00, tepat waktu! Dan perjalanan menuju shelter Transjakarta memakan waktu lama karena aku mengambil arah yang salah, yaitu di sisi Manggala Wanabakti (agak sungkan kalau harus menyeberang di stasiun), akibatnya harus memutar di bawah flyover. Still on foot ^_^.
Seperti yang terjadi sebelumnya, jumlah penumpang tidak seimbang dengan jumlah armada Transjakarta Koridor IX, akibatnya penumpang di dalam bus seperti ikan sardin kaleng! Berdiri tak bergerak. Sesak dan tidak nyaman.
Well then, akhirnya sampai juga di kos, sekitar pukul 09.00 dan aku masih punya banyak waktu menikmati Sabtu ini.

Beberapa hal yang harus diperhatikan dalam menggunakan krl ini adalah ketepatan waktu. Jangan sampai terlambat karena krl tidak akan berhenti lama. Kemudian bagi penumpang pria, jangan sentuh gerbong 1 karena dikhususkan bagi penumpang wanita. Dan disarankan untuk sarapan sebelum memulai perjalanan, karena ternyata melelahkan ^_^.
